Pilfo's Parlay for Week 8
October 29th 2009 - Pilfo
Minnesota and Green Bay squared off recently and Green Bay had their lunch
handed to them by both the Viking offense and defense. Green Bay has had a few
weeks to look at tape to see where they can improve. I just can't figure out how
Green Bay can stop the Favre led Viking offense nor can I figure out how Green
Bay is going to get around the pressure that Minnesota will bring again. I see
this as a repeat game.
Prediction: Minnesota 31-21
Look who has a two game winning streak and suddenly can compete. Its Buffalo.
Buffalo's defense and special teams have played well recently. Fitzpatrick has
filled in at q.b. admirably and Lynch has improved the running game. Houston has
continued their up and down ways and now travels to a colder climate to try and
stay in the playoff hunt. I believe Andre Johnson's bruised lung will take him
out of the game after one hit and the Texans will struggle from that point.
Prediction: Buffalo 17-13
Nobody loves New Orleans more than I do. I picked them preseason to make it to
the Super Bowl and lose to San Diego. Hey the Chargers are still in it. But lets
come down to earth a little and realize that teams have figured out how to score
on the Saints and this is a divisional game of huge importance. Both teams will
be up for this game. I expect a shootout.
Prediction: New Orleans 41-34
3 Team Parlay:
Minn +3 /
Buff +3.5 / Atl +10 |
