NFL Bargain Bets for Week 4
October 2nd 2010 - Old Man Winner
New York Jets -5.5 @ Buffalo Bills
Buffalo is the worst team in the NFL . . . . by far . . . . no competition
They covered the spread last week against a porous NE defense. They will not be
so lucky this week. They go up against a much more physical team with a straight
forward scheme that reduces its risk. The Jets will play dominating defense and
will revert to running the ball 35 times. This will be a game of attrition. They
will wear down an inferior team in the second half. Both the Jets backs should
have a good game. I would not be surprised to see them both surpass 100 yards
rushing. I expect Dustin Keller to have another strong game.
The Bills will not be able to run on the Jets and at some point will have to
turn to their passing game. Then they will die a quick death. I expect the Jets
to be +3 on turnovers and win this one going away.
