NFC Conference Championship Prediction January 22nd 2010 - Special K
Here is what the Saints defense will be saying to Brett Favre on Sunday. Who
dat Vikings Quarterback looking like a fool with his pants on the ground?
Brett Favre is definitely a feel good story for the NFL this year and Favre
is showing a determination like no other in his goal to make it back to the
Super Bowl. However, this is Drew Breesus and the Saints year. There are just 5
teams that have never made it to the Super Bowl and after Sunday that list will
be down to 4. After watching the Vikings completely dismantle the Dallas Cowboys
last weekend, we saw how important a factor home field advantage is to a dome
team in the playoffs. The Vikings defense was in the Cowboys backfield before
the offensive line even knew the ball was snapped. The Vikings are going to
regret not playing out the 2009 season and missing the opportunity to host this
game on their home field where they went 9-0. Remember that the Vikings are only
4-4 on the road this season and have not played well away from the Metrodome.
I think that the Vikings are going to have to make some big plays to pull off an
upset here (i.e. Percy Harvin kick or punt TD return).
Take the Saints -3.5 - its their turn
