NFL O/U Week 3
September 24th 2010 - Special K
Washington Redskins at St. Louis Rams (Under 38.5 points)
The Rams will be lucky to score 10+ points this week. Laurent Robinson is
doubtful for week 3 leaving Sam Bradford with Mark Clayton as his only viable WR
option. The Rams tried to get Sam Bradford some help negotiating for Vincent
Jackson. However, San Diego owner A.J Smith squashed all offers. The Redskins
were also trying to get Jackson but fell short. I think Shanahan will be looking
to get the running game going this week for the Redskins. They have only gained
107 rushing yards in two games so far. I expect a low scoring affair as former
Rams coach Jim Haslett will be looking to pitch a shutout against his former
team.
Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans (over 47 points)
There's going to be a big shootout in Texas. The only way this game doesn't
exceed 47 points is if the Dallas Cowboys come out and decide to run the ball
which I wouldn't put past the coaching staff to try and do. Look for Tony
Romo to exploit the Texans secondary in this game and put up huge numbers like
Manning and McNabb have already done.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saint (Under 49.5 points)
Someone explain to me how the over/under is higher in this game than the
Cowboys/Texans game? The Falcons have been preparing their defense all offseason
for this game. They actually acquired the Texans best cornerback Dunta Robinson
to combat Brees. I predict an overall total of around 45 points in this game.
