I liked the Saints before the Dwight Freeney injury was made public so you can imagine how much I like the Saints now. If you compare the two offenses of the Saints and Colts, I don't see how anyone can say the Colts offense is better. They are equal at best and although I rank Manning ahead of Brees by a slight margin, I believe the Saints have a more versatile set of receivers and the Saints have better running backs.
The Saints defense is the more opportunistic defense which will cause a couple of turnovers. They are a bend but don't break defense when they are healthy which will limit some of those touchdown situations to field goal attempts. Don't get me wrong, I believe these two offenses are awesome so there will be plenty of scoring but the Saints defense should be able to slow down Manning more than the Colts defense can slow down Brees. With Freeney out or less effective Brees will have a great day.
