NFL Underdog Pick for Week 8
October 29th 2010 - Special K
Tennessee Titans (+3.5) at San Diego Chargers
This week's article was very simple to write. I just copied last week's article.
From last week:
How in the world are the San Diego Chargers favored in this matchup? Have you
ever seen a team with the #1 ranked offense and the #1 ranked defense only
manage a 2-5 record? That is really pathetic. What has impressed me the most
this season about the Titans has been their defense. The Titans defense has 25
sacks so far which leads the league. The Titans have forced 18 turnovers, yes
18, which has been a Chargers issue of late. The Titans also have very good
special teams which is another advantage for them in this matchup, since we all
know how bad the Chargers have been at this. I don't even know how the Chargers
special teams coach has managed to keep his job. The Chargers have given up
several kick returns for TD's, had punts blocked for a TD and safety and have
missed field goals at critical times in the game.
The Chargers come into this game with no Malcolm
Floyd and probably no Naanee again. Patrick Crayton will be the #1 wide out. The
Titans should be the favorite in this game.
Take the Titans to cover a 3.5 point spread |
