NFL O/U Plays for Week 1
September 8th, 2011 - Special K
Let's see if I can top the 2010 season where I hit on 68% of my over/under
selections! I looked at the Vegas O/U lines for week 1 and it is obvious that
the linesmakers have factored in the new kickoff change. In case you were on a
deserted island over the last year, teams have to kick off from the 35 yard line
now which means less special teams touchdowns and longer drives for the offense.
Atlanta Falcons at
Chicago Bears (Over 40.5 points)
Both teams will easily score 20+ points in this game. The Falcons drafted standout
Wide Receiver Julio Jones instead of getting sorely needed help on defense and
the Bears have Mike Martz still. I look for Matt Ryan and the Falcons to go
no-huddle often which will wear down an aging Bears defense making for a shootout
in Chicago. Nice weather forecast for Sunday too.
