NFL O/U Plays for Week 8

In 2011, we are still rolling along hitting 11 out of 16 picks (69%). I need to stay clear of picking 1/2 half point totals as that has been my downfall so far this year.

Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos (Under 42 points)

The Lions have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL and they will contain Tebow and the Broncos. Stafford is also banged up and has been able to sustain drives. The defenses on both teams are better than the opposing offenses so take the under.
 
Cincinnati Bengals at Seattle Seahawks (Under 37.5 points)

I'm really hoping that Charlie Whitehurst is the starting QB for the Seahawks in this one. If so, the under is a lock. Last week, Whitehurst looked completely lost. Even if Tavaris Jackson gets the nod, he would of had limited practice so I still like the under. The crowd noise will affect Dalton and young Bengals team as well. I predict a very low scoring game with lots of field goals.
