NFL Best Bets for Week 7
October 19th 2012 - Old Man Winner
Get on board this week, got a 3 bagger for ya . . .
Wash + 6.5 @ NYG
The 'skins have covered in their last three meetings with the G-Men, and
that was with the likes of Rex Grossman, Donavan McNabb, and John Beck as their
QB's. They now have a much more mobile QB in RGIII. I look for the Redskins to
run the ball more effectively than the 49ers and hit a few big plays down the
field. The Giants will have a letdown after their rematch with the 49ers. The
Giants play worse at home than on the road.

Dal -2 @ Car
I see Dallas as a team on the rise for the rest of the year and Carolina as
a team that the league has figured out. Cam Newton is not a shell of what he was
last year. He has lost all his confidence and is not consistently stepping into
his throws. Dallas has played a tough schedule thus far and should be able to
shut down a very pedestrian Carolina offense. Look for the Dallas WR's to run
wild in this one.

Cin +2.5 vs. Pit
Pitt has owned this matchup for the last two years, so this call is a little
risky. However, these are not your 2011 Steelers. Much like the Ravens, I
believe this team's better days are in the rear view mirror and its time for the
two Ohio teams to make their move. Pitt is banged up - Big Ben has an ankle
injury, Mendenhall and Redman are out, and several key players on defense are
questionable. I don't see that the Steelers have any answer to the new #1
combination of Dalton to A. J. Green.
