NFL Underdog Pick for Week 13
November 30th 2012 - Special K
Seattle Seahawks (+4) at Chicago Bears
Yes, I am completely aware that you are
suppose to fade the Seahawks when they play on the road. I even wrote an article
on how great the Seahawks are at home -
Seattle Seahawks and the 12th Man.
One of the main reasons I like the Seahawks this week is because the Bears
offensive line is in shambles. As if their offensive line wasn't already an
issue, they are down two more starters. I actually like the Seahawks defense
better than the Bears in this matchup. The Seahawks will be playing with their
top 2 cornerbacks Browner and Sherman this week and these guys can shut down
Brandon Marshall who is really the only WR threat the Bears have. Hester will be
out for the Bears. This gives the Special Teams edge to Leon Washington and the
Seahawks as well.
One might think that the Seahawks have no shot sending in rookie QB Russell
Wilson against the vaunted Bears defense. Just ask Colin Kaepernick how his
first start went against the Bears :)
Believe it or not Wilson is very careful with handling the football. He's thrown
just as many interceptions as Peyton Manning (8 total) this year and his QB
rating is better than Drew Brees. Yes go check. Jay Cutler is going to be the QB
struggling in this game if the Bears defense can not get their usual 3+
turnovers. I definitely like the Seahawks to cover in this spot and even give
them a slight chance at winning outright.
Take the Seahawks and the points
