NFL Underdog Pick for Week 15
December 14th 2012 - Special K
Indianapolis Colts (+8.5) at Houston
Texans
The Texans are coming off an embarrassing
Monday Night loss to the Patriots. Many experts and sharps are predicting that
the Texans will rebound and completely blow out the Colts in this football game.
I've been hearing for weeks now that the Colts aren't for real and have been
lucky in their wins. If you just take a look at their stats, the Colts offense
averages 22 points per game and their defense gives up 25 points per game. Find
me a 9-4 team with stats like that! However, what this also tells me is that the Colts know
how to win and are a very well coached team in pressure situations.
The Texans, in my opinion, come into this game as the team that is overrated.
Let's not forget that the Texans squeaked by the Jaguars and got some favorable
breaks in the Lions game. Their defense is not even close to what it is was at
the beginning of the season. They are giving up an average of 30 points
per game in their last 4 games.
Throw out the statistics in this one. Andrew Luck and the Colts have mojo this
season. They understand the magnitude of this game and I understand that it is
not smart to pick against mojo.
Take the Colts and the points
