NFL Underdog Pick for Week 4
September 28th 2012 - Special K
Miami Dolphins (+6.5) at Arizona Cardinals
If you take away the end of the first half
against the Houston Texans, I have been somewhat impressed with how Ryan
Tannehill has played so far this season. This week, Tannehill will face the #1
ranked scoring defense in the Arizona Cardinals that contained Brady and shutdown Vick. However, the Cardinals aren't a high
powered offensive juggernaut that are going blow many teams out. If you take away the
defensive score at the end of the first half in last week's Eagle's game, the
Cardinals are only scoring 20 points per game. So 6.5 points is a big number and
a whole lot of points to be giving. If the Dolphins can have some
success with Bush running the football, the Dolphins have a shot in
this game. Ball control and time of possession is key for the Dolphins in this matchup.
I was never a big fan of the letdown game, but if there ever was one, you've got
Kolb coming off a huge matchup against his former team. Plus Kolb's wife had a
baby this week, congrats to the new dad! If you ever had a newborn though, you know how
sleep deprived you become.
I look for the Dolphins to keep this game close. If you are looking for an
underdog that will be an outright winner this weekend, I like RG3 against the
Bucs.
Take the Dolphins and the Points
