Pilfo's Parlay Week 5
September 29th 2012 - Pilfo
Cinn - 4 / Tenn + 5.5 / Carolina - 3
As I keep saying week after week, the Bengals are a solid, respectable team
this year. They have a star wide receiver and a reasonable run game. They have a
QB who keeps improving and does what is necessary to win games. The Bengal
defense isn't great but they are good enough to help balance this team. The
Dolphins appear to be playing over their heads this year. The team has been
respectable but they have not impressed me. The Bengals should slowly pull away
in this one.
Bengals 31-17
Matt Hasselbeck improves this Titan team so much when he plays. You will see
a Titan offense that puts up some points against the Viking defense which is
missing one of their starting safeties this week. The Vikings appear to have
simplified their offense and this strategy ,while safe, keeps the score closer
that it needs to be. The Vikings didn't score an offensive t.d. last week
against a defense that Tenn. scored 44 points against. The Titans are improving.
Titans 34-27
Carolina is starting to hit their stride after a very slow start. Don't
underestimate this team. The Seahawks play very well at home but their rookie
q.b. doesn't get it done on the road.
Panthers 33-17 |
