NFL Best Bets for Week 12

Miami is not a good football team. The offensive line has been a sieve since the
loss of three of their offensive linemen (Pouncey, Icognito, and Martin). Why am
I talking about Miami here? Because if the Chargers could not completely shut
down the Dolphins (last week) with that depleted line (Dolphins passed for 268
yds and ran for over 100 yds), how in the world are they going to shut down the
Chiefs?
Ever since Rivers arrived, every year they seem to execute the same strategy; it
goes something like this: win early/lose late. Well, they are into the second
half of that strategy. Rivers will tend to beat himself (insert joke here), Alex
Smith never does (insert second joke here).
I expect the Chiefs to run a conservative game plan, play good defense and run
the ball, and just wait for the Chargers to implode. The Chiefs need this game
to stay even with the Broncos in the AFC West.
