NFL Best Bets for Week 13

I could easily write the case for taking the other side of this one with all its
supporting story lines: KC's defense/pass rush, Alex Smith never turning the
ball over, Peyton playing outside in cold weather, KC playing them tough in
Denver, the vaunted Arrowhead, blah blah blah. Sometimes it really just comes
back to the simple and mundane - who is the better team?
Sometimes all the 'noise' surrounding a game can be a distraction from the
simple analysis that one team is just simply hands-down more talented than the
other. There is little doubt which team is better in this matchup. I'll bet a
majority of those taking the Chiefs and the points this week would even agree.
With Justin Houston out and Tamba Hali ailing the Chiefs will have an even
tougher time pressuring Manning than they did in Denver a couple weeks ago.
If the Sheriff can just keep Fox and Del Rio away from conservative play calls
and taking the ball out of the hands of their best player on the field, then the
Broncos should win this one going away.
