NFL O/U Plays for Week 5
October 4th, 2013 - Special K
2013 Record: 5-8
Houston Texans at San Francisco 49ers (Over 42.5 points)
Don't let the 49ers defense fool you after last week's win against the
pitiful Rams. The Rams had plenty of opportunities to score. The Texans offense
is much better and will take advantage. I expect this game to cover the O/U
easily.
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (Over 53.5 points)
The Packers are off a bye and will probably score on their first couple drives.
The Lions like to play in shootouts, take the over.
San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders (over 44.5)
Philip Rivers looks invincible right now. The Chargers are also missing
Freeney which should help the scrambling Pryor. The Raiders have no running
backs left so they will be looking for the big play. I like the over.
Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals (Under 42.5 points)
The Cardinals offense is sputtering and it doesn't get any easier against a
pretty decent Panthers defense. The Cardinals get Daryl Washington and Dan
Williams back on defense. The Cards
rank #2 against the run which is what the Panthers like to do. I like the under. |
