NFL O/U Plays for Week 6
October 10th, 2013 - Special K
2013 Record: 6-11
Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens (Over 48 points)
The Packers are without Clay Matthews on defense. Aaron Rodgers and the
Packers offense are too good to be held down 2 weeks in a row. I expect a
wide open game so I like the over.
New Orleans Saints at New England Patriots (Under 50 points)
Gronk is back, which should help the struggling Patriots in the red zone.
However, the Patriots are smart enough to know that they can't get in a shootout
with Brees and the Saints. The Patriots have only covered the over once this
year. I like the under.
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers (over 50 points)
The key to hitting the over will be the QB play of Philip Rivers. The
Chargers have no running game and will be forced to air it out. Luckily, for us
the Chargers are averaging 30 points at home. I like the over.
Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns (Under 45.5 points)
This is a hedge that Calvin Johnson won't be at full strength or won't play at
all. The Browns have no running game and Weeden takes too long in the pocket to
throw. He will struggle against the Lions in this matchup. I like the under.
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys (Over 53.5 points)
You did watch Manning shred the Cowboys defense last week and Philip Rivers
the week before, right?
The Redskins coming off a bye will surely get off to a good start. Another
shootout in Big D, take the over.
