New York Jets (+1.5) at Buffalo

This was a tough call as I really do like the Chiefs with the 8.5 points against
a banged up Peyton Manning and I think Andy Reid has won something like 14 out
of 15 games following a bye. However, I like the Jets even more this week. Many
will argue that the Bills play much better at home but yet they are only 2-3 at
home. Many will argue that the Jets are on a rollercoaster ride, win one week
and lose the next. They are coming off a big win against the Saints so now this
is the week they will lose. Well, the bye week got in the way of that one.
Listen, playing in Buffalo doesn't matter to the Jets. The Jets have won 4 out
of their last 5 games in Buffalo. The lone Buffalo win was in week 17 when the
Jets had already packed up for the season. The Bills will be without their
two best wide receivers (Johnson and Woods). The Bills are a one
dimensional offense without those two receivers. Unfortunately, that one
dimensional offense matches up with the Jets strength. The Jets have the #1 rush
defense in the league and held Spiller in their first meeting to 9 yards on 10
carries. The Jets get another weapon back on offense this week with Santonio
Holmes and have even added some veteran leadership with the signing of Ed Reed.
I think the Jets are the better team and have the favorable matchups.
