NFL Week 16 Teaser Bet

What is a teaser bet?
A teaser is a type of bet that allows you to adjust point spreads on a minimum of two games.  You can either add or subtract points to the teams chosen to improve your point spread. For our article, we will either adjust the point spread or over/under line by 6 points.  A $100 bet on a two game teaser will normally net your about $100, even money. 

1. New England Patriots at New York Jets (NE -3)
Current spread: NE -10 (Add 6 points and take the Patriots).
I had the Patriots as 14.5 point favorites this week against an awful Jets team.
NE -3 is an early Santa gift.

2. Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans (Bal +1)
Current spread: Bal -5 points (Add 6 points and take the Ravens)
The Texans have brought back Keenum and Kubiak returns to pummel his old team.

3. Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (Det -1)
Current spread: Det -7 points (Add 6 points and take the Lions)
Jimmy Clausen, really? Obviously, the Bears want to keep Cutler healthy so they can shop him around next year. The Bears have officially checked out.

4. Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (Sea -2)
Current spread: Sea -8 points (Add 6 points and take the Seahawks)
The Cardinals may be able to push around inferior teams but the big bad bully Seahawks are coming to town. With Lindley at QB, I can't see the Cardinals pulling off a win.
