The Carolina Panthers were 3-2-1 going into a week 7 matchup against the Green
Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Panthers got crushed and went on to lose their
next 4 games following that loss.
The Panthers needed their bye week sooner than week 12 to get Cam Newton
healthier.
You can tell that he was playing through an injury.
The Vikings offense ranks near the bottom in most categories so I expect this
game to be a low scoring defensive battle that the Panthers are accustomed to
playing in. I expect a healthier Cam coming out of the bye week to make more
plays than Teddy Bridgewater in this football game and get the Panthers a win.
The Panthers at 3-7-1 believe it or not are still playing for a chance at making
the playoffs.
The Panthers will face only one team with a winning record in their 5 remaining
games. A win this weekend at Minnesota sets up a showdown between the Panthers
and Saints in week 14 for 1st place.
Don't count the Panthers out just yet.
