I'm giving you the best Halloween treat today in picking the Arizona Cardinals
over the Dallas Cowboys. The wrong team is favored in this matchup. The
Cardinals are the team that should be favored by 3 points. Bruce Arians
is one of the top 5 coaches in the NFL. Arians has the Cardinals on a roll,
going 18-5 ATS in the last 2 seasons.
It doesn't matter if Weeden or Romo will be playing at QB Sunday. If you watched
the game Monday Night, you saw that the Cowboys had no clue what to do with the
Redskins blitz packages. I almost thought Romo was done for the season after he
laid motionless on the field for 10 minutes. The Cardinals will blitz even more
than the Redskins and are even better at disguising blitzes. The Cardinals have
feasted on creating turnovers all year (ranked 5th overall) and that is a recipe
for disaster for the Cowboys. The only team to have success against them was
Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Romo is no Manning.
I knew Jerry Jones was the head coach but I didn't realize he was the head
trainer as well. Maybe Jerry can suit up and start at QB as well.
