NFL Best Bets for Week 11

Since I don't have a super strong play this week we're going with three "B"
level picks. Feel free to parlay them if you're feeling lucky.
Dal Pick 'em @ Mia
This isn't about Romo. This is about the Dallas offensive line against the 2nd
weakest rush defense in the league. The weather is expected to be windy and
rainy. That means conditions will not be great for passing. I think that favors
Dallas. With Dez and Romo back I would expect some nice play action after they
soften the defense. Dallas defense is better than they look on paper. They have
been hurt by their offense with Dez and Romo out.
Min -1 vs. GB
Take the team names and colors off the jerseys and you tell me who the better
team is. The Vikings know who they are which allows them to focus on the
execution of a very straightforward game plan. On offense, Norv Turner pounds
the ball while peppering in some classic west coast play action patterns. On
defense, they are young, fast, and physical. They also have a strong set of
special teams. The Packers on the other hand are a hot mess. Their receivers are
slow in their routes, Rodgers is not 100%, and they are trying to turn a
perennial 2nd team RB into starter. They do not look like the Packers we know.
I'll go with the better team at home to win this one.
NE - 7.5 vs. Buf
We all know the sordid history of Bill Belicheck and Rex Ryan. Every year its
Ryan's Super Bowl if he can beat New England. The only problem is he very rarely
does. Beli, on the other hand, loves to run up the score on Rex whenever
possible. I expect the Pats to be zigging when Rex is expecting them to zag.
Translation: although the game doesn't set up like this on paper (Brady threw
the ball 60 times in their first meeting this year), I wouldn't be surprised to
see them pound the ball in this one. Their OLine is back and I'm sure Beli would
love to exit the game sending a message to Rex that he can beat them with any
game plan he decides to use.
