It seems like there are some football games that every handicapper wants to pass
on.
This is one of those football games for sure but I will gladly provide a play on
this game for you.
Yes, Zack Mettenberger has never won an NFL game and the Wiz is 4-20 SU in his
last 24 games as a head coach. Yes, the Titans have even lost 16 out of their
last 17 games. Yes, the Texans were embarrassed last week, so you expect them to
bounce back against the lowly Titans.
Wrong, the Texans are in free fall. There are rumblings of problems
between O'Brien and the GM.
Foster, their best rb, is done for the year. Also, don't let the Texans
offensive statistics fool you either, they aren't that good. A lot of their
stats were gained in garbage time against prevent defenses versus the Dolphins
and Falcons.
The Texans defense has been getting worse ever since Wade Phillips left.
Have you seen any JJ Watt highlight reels this year?
Finally, the Texans are one dimensional with Hopkins being the primary target.
Teams are starting to game plan around this now. The Titans strength is in their
pass defense so they match up well against the Texans pass first offense.
You know you are in trouble when you start saying things like "Hoyer is a good
enough QB'.
This game should be a pick'em. I see value here in getting all these points.
