What is a teaser bet?
A teaser is a type of bet that allows you to adjust point spreads on a
minimum of two games.
You can either add or subtract points to the teams chosen to improve your
point spread. For our article, we will either adjust the point spread or
over/under line by 6 points.
A $100 bet on a two game teaser will normally net your about $100, even
money.
1. Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys (Dal -1)
Current spread: DAL -7 points (Add 6 points and take the Cowboys)
You know that you can't trust Dallas as a 7 point favorite but laying 1 point
against a team with half their defense out and Hoyer starting at QB is much
easier to do.
2. New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs (NYJ +9)
Current spread: KC -3 (Add 6 points and take the Jets)
Jets are too good of a team to lose by more than a touchdown coming off a
Thursday game with extra rest.
3. Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans (Oak +7.5)
Current spread: TEN -1.5 points (Add 6 points and take the Raiders)
Tennessee has only won 4 games in the last 2 years so it is highly unlikely
they win by more than a touchdown against the Raiders. |
