I know the Texans have yet to win a road game this season. I also know the
Jaguars played very well against the Chiefs last week and probably should have
beaten the Chiefs had they not turned the football over so much. This is about
the time of season the Jaguars actually start playing to their potential every
year getting their fan base excited. However.
football games are all about matchups. The Jaguars have no running game and like
to throw the football. The Texans have the 2nd best pass defense in the NFL,
only the Broncos are better. The Jags are ranked 24th against the run and the
Texans, ranked 11th in rushing, like to run the football with Miller. The matchups simply favor the Texans in this one.
Also, the Texans have been outstanding in division having gone 6-0-1 ATS in
their last 7 football game. I like that trend to continue this week
against the Jaguars.
