It is never a good sign when you see ads saying that there are still tickets
available for your home opener. That says just about everything you need to know
about how the fans feel about this Cleveland Browns team this year. The
Cleveland Browns are ranked 32nd in just about everyone's Power Rankings and are
considered by most to be the worst team in the NFL. The Browns took a beating
against a rookie QB in week 1 and lost their starting QB, RG III, for the
season. So why in the world would I be picking the Browns as my underdog pick of
the week against the Baltimore Ravens this week?
It's simple, I like all the points and I like Josh McCown running the offense
this week. I consider McCown to be an upgrade to the offense over RG III. McCown
has beaten the Ravens twice in three career starts and set the franchise record
of 457 passing yards in a 33-30 victory over the Ravens last year. For those of
you playing in FanDuel contests, expect to see an uptick in production from Gary
Barnidge. Barnidge is McCown's favorite target. Listen, there really isn't
anything that scares you with the Baltimore Ravens offense. How many Ravens do
you have starting on your fantasy team? Exactly.
