Ditto, last week's pick. As I mentioned in last week's writeup, the Oakland Raiders
made a smart decision to stay in Florida for their games against the Jags and
the Bucs. The Bucs actually had more traveling to do than the Raiders. The Bucs
had to fly across country to play the 49ers and then come back.
Once again the Raiders are a slight underdog when I had them installed as a 2.5
point favorite this week. I really don't understand the lack of respect for this
team from the oddsmakers. This same Bucs team was a 1 point underdog to the
49ers last week.
The Raiders are 4-0 on the
road this season and the Bucs have lost 4 in a row at home. I really see this
game coming down to the turnovers. Even though the Raiders defense statistically
aren't that great, the Raiders rank 2nd in turnover differential. They are now a +8 in the turnover ratio while the
Bucs are a -3. Only the Vikings rank higher than the Raiders in this statistic.
Winston will make more mistakes than Carr in this football game.
