LA Chargers (+3.5) at New York Giants
I know what you are asking. Why in the world would anyone even bother or go near
a game that features two teams that are both 0-4?
This football game features a team that actually released their kicker when he
made all his kicks last week instead of firing him after missing and costing his
team the game two weeks in a row. We will be watching a team that will feature
running back Wayne Gallman. We've got a head coach who says he isn't at all
surprised by the winless start and that we need to win a damn game!
Yeah I know the Chargers have to fly East for a 1:00 game and that is always a
disadvantage.
However, I love the hook in this game because the team that wins this football
game isn't going to win by more than a field goal. Neither team is capable of
winning by more than 3 points either way so why not take the points?
I also like the fact that Rivers is a competitor and it doesn't matter what his
record is or where he plays the game. Rivers is a fighter who always puts in his
best effort. Listen, the Giants are way more of a train wreck than the Chargers. As long
as Novak doesn't Folk it all up, I like the Chargers and the points in this one.
