LA Rams (+2.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
I think Vegas has the wrong team favored in this football game. The Rams are
clearly the better team in my eyes. The Rams offense has moved the football up
and down the field in all their games so far this season. It is amazing what a
coaching change and a good scheme can do. The Rams definitely struggle in the
red zone but I look for them to jump out to an early lead and grind out a win on
the road. Bortles and the anemic Jags offense haven't shown the ability to play
from behind this season.
The Rams are literally a fumble into the pylon away from being 4-1 for the
season. If they were 4-1, I believe would have been at least a 3 point favorite
in this game.
The Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL against the run (5.4 yards per rush
attempt) so Gurley should put up some decent numbers.
Even though the Rams are a young team they have proven they can win on the road
with wins over Dallas and the 49ers. Besides the Jags are 1-8 in their last 9
home games. There isn't a home field advantage at all for the Jags.
