Minnesota Vikings (+2.5) at Chicago Bears
Listen, simply put, the wrong team is favored in this football game.
The Bears have played one of easiest schedules in the NFL this year.
I realize that the Bears don't make up their schedule and have done their job to
beat up on teams like the Bills, Jets, Tampa, and Arizona. However, other than
the Patriots, the Vikings will be the only other team the Bears have played
against with a record above .500. I am not confident enough to trust Mitchell
Trubisky this week against one of the top defenses in the NFL even at home.
The Vikings defense has been improving week after week.
The Vikings defense held Brees to under 200 yards passing and with Xavier Rhodes
and Griffen healthy their defense is peaking.
Add Dalvin Cook back in the mix on offense and the Vikings are ready to make a
second half run.
Since 2015, the Vikings are 3-1 after a bye as well.
