Pittsburgh Steelers (+3) at Baltimore Ravens
This game is definitely my favorite pick of the entire weekend. Yes, the Ravens
are a tougher team to play at home. Yes, Big Ben and the Steelers struggle in
that stadium. Yes, the Ravens easily beat the Steelers earlier this year. So why
am I picking the Steelers then?
One team is headed in the right direction and the other is headed downward. The
team headed in the right direction are the Steelers. The last time the Steelers
played the Ravens they were distracted with the Le'veon Bell situation. James
Conner only had 9 carries in that game. Since that game, Conner has rushed for
over 100 yards in every game. The Steelers offense is clicking and balanced.
Meanwhile, the Ravens offense is a mess. The Ravens will be down two offensive
lineman in Stanley and Hurst against a defense that is 2nd in the NFL in sacks.
I look for the Ravens to drop 3 in a row and this game might be the end of the
road for Joe Flacco. Harbaugh will be feeling the pressure to start Lamar
Jackson against the Bengals in week 10.
