NFL Best Bets for Week 4

Some weeks are easier than others. This one is a no-brainer.
Pat Mahomes is simply not human. He is stacking up numbers like no other QB
before him. He is simply unstoppable. It doesn't even seem to matter which
receivers he has available to him. He just seems to find whoever is out there
and throws them open - a strange phrase that simply means puts the ball in a
place that allows only his receiver to catch it in an ideal place and always in
stride that leads to maximization of yards. That is really the end of the story.
Nothing else matters in the game - who they are playing, how good a defense
happens to be, or how well the other team has played lately. Not to mention the
fact that the Chiefs have a much better defense than last year.
OK, since you insist, I will say a couple of things about Detroit. Their
offensive scheme feels old and stodgy, Stafford is a JAG (just another guy), and
the Lions never seem to be able to run the ball. Yes, their defense is ok, but
it won't be able to keep them in the game.
The Lions will need to put up 30+ points just to cover the spread and I don't
think they can do it.
