Atlanta Falcons (+4) at Minnesota Vikings
Week 1 is always one of the toughest weeks for me to handicap football games.
Teams go through so many changes in the offseason so it takes me time to figure
out where teams stand, usually several weeks. This is the main reason why I am
picking the Falcons and taking points this weekend. I know what I am getting in
both teams especially at the QB position with Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins.
In 2018, let's not forget, the Falcons were decimated with injuries but finished
the season strong going 3-0. The Falcons have also improved their offensive line
by drafting lineman with their first 2 picks. With Diggs nursing a hamstring
injury, I expect this to be a close game that goes down to the wire.
