Look at all the gigantic spreads this weekend!
There are six games with spreads of eight points and higher. As it gets
later in the season and games become more significant for certain teams, the oddsmakers start to factor motivation
into the lines. Teams favored by
more than 10 points have gone 4-0 in the last two weeks, after starting a
miserable 1-13.
One of the best NFL games of the weekend has the Cowboys matched up against the
Steelers in Pittsburgh. The rivalry runs very deep between both teams as
they have faced each other in three Super Bowls. The games were classic battles
with the Steelers winning two of the three
Super Bowls.
Terry Bradshaw, :Lynn Swann, and Larry Brown were Super Bowl MVP's.
The Monday Night game has huge implications on the playoffs as the Bucs travel
to Carolina to take on the Panthers. The Buccaneers handled the Panthers
easily in week 6 winning 27-3. I suspect this game will be a much
tighter contest this time around.
