There are some key matchups in Week 15
that could decide the playoff future of some teams. In the NFC, the Buccaneers,
Falcons, Eagles and Cowboys are all battling for the final two wildcard spots.
The Falcons face off against the Buccaneers this weekend. The Cowboys probably
have the toughest schedule remaining, having to play the Giants, Ravens, and
Eagles. The Cowboys play the Eagles in week 17, which could decide
the final NFC playoff spot. In the AFC, the Colts appear to be a lock for one
wild card spot as their schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way. The
Patriots, Jets and Dolphins are all tied atop the AFC East. Most likely
one of those teams will need to win their division in order to secure a spot in the postseason.
Don't count the Chargers out just yet either, if the Broncos were to lose their
next two games and the Chargers won their next two, the Chargers-Broncos game in
Week 17 would be for the AFC West title.
