This might be the best opportunity for
the Detroit Lions to actually win a game this season! They host the New
Orleans Saints, a team that is no longer playoff bound and with very little to
play for. There are some key matchups this weekend that will decide the playoff future for many teams.
The Cowboys take on another smash-mouth football team in the Baltimore Ravens on
Saturday Night. Tony Romo will barely have enough time to rest his injured
back he sustained in the Giants win. The Ravens need to win in order to
keep their playoff chances alive as there are three other teams with the same
record as them.
The Panthers and Giants winner will
secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Jets, New England, and Miami are all competing for their division and a
wildcard spot. The Jets currently control their own destiny and own the
tiebreaker between those teams. The Jets and Dolphins will meet in week 17
in the Meadowlands.
