Could we be seeing a preview of 2009 NFC championship game
between the 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings? Alright, so we are getting
really ahead of ourselves but the 49ers have been one of the biggest surprises so
far in 2009. While the Vikings and 49ers are both 2-0, several teams are
still seeking their first win. The Titans, Dolphins, and Panthers were all
2008 playoff teams that are desperate for a win and will probably put up a good
fight this weekend.
Matt Ryan will pay a visit to his old Boston College stomping grounds when the
Falcons visit the Patriots. I'm pretty sure he will not get a warm welcome by
the New England fans. With the exception of the final 5 minutes of the Bills
game, Tom Brady and the Patriots offense have not looked sharp. How much of this
is Brady's time away from football due to the knee injury or is it because of
the departure of Josh McDaniels to the Broncos?
