Power Rankings
for Week 1 of the 2009 season. Each week our team of football
experts will pass judgment on each NFL team and rank them accordingly.
The New England Patriots are once again on top of the Power Rankings coming into
the 2009 NFL season. Many of you are probably asking why the Steelers
aren't #1 since they won the Super Bowl last year. You have to admit that
several teams were very glad to see the Patriots miss the
playoffs last season. The Patriots were starting to roll at the end of
last year even without Tom Brady at the helm.
With Brady healthy, the Patriots offense should be able to
effortlessly put up 30+ points per game.
